Technology in Prestige: Kingdom War is researched at the Technology Center, costs Money (not resources), and applies to every city you own — so the order you research in compounds for the entire game. Here’s the priority order that pays off fastest.
Phase 1 — feed the engine
- ▸Planting — +10% Crop per level. Crop feeds your army; this is the single most important economic tech as your troop count grows.
- ▸Woodcutting, Digging, Smelting — +5% per level to Wood, Stone, and Iron. Keep them roughly even to avoid bottlenecks.
Phase 2 — move faster, hit harder
- ▸Marching — +3% army speed per level. Speed decides who strikes first; this helps everything from raids to hunts.
- ▸Attack and Defense — +2% per level each. Steady, permanent combat power across every battle.
- ▸Scout — out-scout your enemy and you see exact troop counts and resources before you commit.
Phase 3 — unlock your walls and range
- ▸Trap Research and Turret Research — required before you can build or upgrade Traps and Turrets. Get these online once you become a target.
- ▸Shooting — extends ranged units’ reach; useful for archer-heavy defensive setups.
