World Map Strategy: Reading the 600×600 Grid
The world in Prestige: Kingdom War is a 600×600 shared grid. How to read it — what to scout, which oases and forts to take, and when to strike.
The world in Prestige: Kingdom War is a 600×600 coordinate grid shared by every player on the server. Reading it well — knowing what to scout, what to take, and when to strike — is what separates a farmer from a target. Here’s how to think about the map.
The 600×600 grid
Every city, oasis, fort, and alliance mine sits at a coordinate. Distance matters: the farther a target, the longer your march, and the more your Speed stat (and Marching tech) pays off. Learn the neighborhood around your city first — your earliest raids and oases should be close enough to hit and return before anyone reacts.
What’s on the map and why you want it
- ▸Oases — produce 100–5,000 of one resource per hour while occupied. Occupied oases lose one level per day, so you constantly reclaim fresh ones.
- ▸Forts — produce Money per hour (about $20 at level 1 up to $200 at level 10). Your steady Technology budget.
- ▸Enemy cities — scout them for resources to raid. Out-scout your target and you see exact troop counts before committing.
- ▸Alliance mines — held by alliances for server prestige; the heart of large-scale war.
Scout before you commit
Never send an army blind. If your Scout Skill is higher than your target’s, your report shows exact troop numbers and resources — turning a gamble into a calculated raid. Against a fortified city you can’t crack, walk away and find a softer target; the map is full of them.
Build efficient routes
- ▸Cluster your oases and forts so collection and defense are quick.
- ▸Prioritize fresh (recently unhunted) oases — they give the best harvests.
- ▸Expand branch cities toward contested resources to project power.
