The 10-step quickstart
- ▸1. Clear the Task list. Complete tasks one by one — each pays resources and Prestige and teaches a system.
- ▸2. Upgrade your Main Building first. It sets your population cap, which limits everything else.
- ▸3. Build your resource fields. Lumber Mills, Stone Mines, Iron Mines, and Croplands — keep them balanced.
- ▸4. Upgrade your Warehouse. Overflow is lost forever; raise storage before big reward collections.
- ▸5. Prioritize Cropland. Crop feeds your army — under-build it and your troops starve later.
- ▸6. Build your Barracks and train a starter army before protection ends.
- ▸7. Join an active Alliance. The single biggest free power boost — reinforcement, advice, and targets.
- ▸8. Upgrade your Cranny. It protects resources from raids once you become a target.
- ▸9. Start Technology research. Begin with Planting and the resource techs — they’re empire-wide.
- ▸10. Send troops to hunt before logging off. They earn Money and Treasure while you’re away and stay safe from attacks.
