Is There a Haypi Kingdom Remake? Yes, and It Is Free
No official Haypi Kingdom remake exists, but Prestige: Kingdom War is a free, independent ground-up rebuild live on iOS and Android since May 2026. Proof here.
If you have typed “Haypi Kingdom remake” into a search box every year or two since the servers went quiet, this is the page that finally has a different answer. Haypi Co. has not made one. Someone else did, and it is playable today.
Is there an official Haypi Kingdom remake?
No. The original Haypi Kingdom shipped on the App Store on January 18, 2010 and received its last update, version 3.20, on August 28, 2013. That build was never rebuilt as a 64-bit app, so when iOS 11 dropped 32-bit support in September 2017 it stopped launching on any current iPhone. The listing is still visible in 2026 with Apple’s notice that “the developer of this app needs to update it to work with your version of iOS,” which is a polite way of saying it is uninstallable. The full story is in what happened to Haypi Kingdom.
The closest thing Haypi ever released to a new Haypi Kingdom was Haypi Kingdom: The Return of the King, which launched on September 17, 2014. Veterans who installed it expecting a remake found a different formula: heroes with skills, six races, ten PvE scenes with hundreds of levels, gear synthesis and disenchanting. It was maintained for about fifteen months, with its last update (version 1.1.5, the War Hall building) on December 22, 2015, and it never recaptured the original’s audience. There is no game literally called Haypi Kingdom 2; anyone using that phrase means Return of the King.
Since then, nothing. The company website still exists, the forum gets an occasional post, the product menu still lists Haypi Monster, Haypi Dragon and Haypi Kingdom, and the news page has no entries after 2012. If an official Haypi Kingdom 2026 revival were coming, there would be some signal by now. There is none.
What a real remake had to get right
Plenty of strategy games have been pitched to ex-Haypi players as “the successor,” and most disappoint for the same reason: they copy the medieval skin and drop the systems. If you played from 2010 to 2013 you already know the list of things that made the game feel like Haypi and nothing else. A remake that skips any of these is not a remake.
- ▸Crop as a hard constraint. Troops ate crop every hour, and if your crop hit zero your army starved. Army size was a budget, not a score.
- ▸Four troop types with real trade-offs. Infantry, Cavalry, Archers, Catapults. Speed decided who struck first, range decided who got hit, and your march moved at the speed of your slowest unit.
- ▸Oases and forts on a shared map. Capturing them was the whole mid-game: production bonuses, NPC garrisons that scaled with level, and a reason to fight your neighbours.
- ▸Hunting. Sending troops into the wild for money and treasure, the quiet income that funded everything else.
- ▸The title ladder. Twenty titles earned with prestige, with each promotion unlocking better attributes and, eventually, more cities.
- ▸The 3rd Baron cliff. Seven days of beginner protection or until you reached 3rd Baron, whichever came first. The morning after it expired was the most educational morning of the game.
- ▸Alliances that mattered. Members could not attack each other, alliance chat was where the real game happened, and wars spanned whole servers.
- ▸Free coins for the patient. Try Your Luck, treasure chests, Earn Free Coins, a recruit reaching 1st Viscount. Spending was optional and the grinders still competed.
Measure any Haypi Kingdom successor against that list, including the one below.
How Prestige: Kingdom War rebuilds it
Prestige: Kingdom War is an independent rebuild by console.log LLC. It is not Haypi’s code and it is not a port; it was written from scratch to reproduce the formula, with the original’s systems as the spec. Here is how it scores on the checklist, with the rebuild’s live numbers.
Economy. Wood, Stone, Iron and Crop, plus Money, Coins and Workers from the Main Building: the same seven-icon top bar you remember. Crop feeds troops and at zero crop they starve. The Warehouse caps storage and the Cranny hides resources from raiders. Eleven buildings, each to level 20, including a City Wall with Traps and Turrets to level 10 behind Trap Research and Turret Research. Eleven technologies researched with Money at the Technology Center: Woodcutting, Digging and Smelting at +5% per level, Planting at +10%, Marching at +3% speed, Attack and Defensive Skill at +2%, plus Shooting, Scout, Trap and Turret research.
Troops. The four types are back with the trade-offs intact. Cavalry hits 175/175 with 500 life and speed 300 but eats 4 crop an hour and costs 4 population; Infantry is 75/75/150 at speed 150 for 1 crop and 1 pop; Archers fire from range 200 with 100 attack and a soft 50 defense; Catapults hit for 300 from range 400 at a crawling speed 50 and 10 crop an hour. Carry capacity is still called Overload. Speed still decides who strikes first, and the army still moves at the pace of its slowest unit, which is why mixed marches still need planning.
Map. A persistent 600×600 world with oases and forts in ten levels each, NPC garrisons that scale with level, and production bonuses for holding them. Hunting at oases yields money and treasure, and hunting troops cannot be attacked. Prestige from training equals population cost, and the rebuild’s title ladder runs the full twenty ranks: 3rd Civilian at 0 prestige, 3rd Baron at 1,150, 1st Viscount at 20,000, 1st Earl at 115,000, 3rd Duke at 1,150,000, and King at 11,500,000 with 4 Scepters and 4 Crowns. Beginner protection is 7 days or until 3rd Baron. Referral rewards trigger when your recruit reaches 3rd Baron, an echo of the old 1st Viscount coin bonus.
Alliances. A Leader, up to five Vice-Leaders, members, alliance chat, alliance wars, and the rule that alliance members cannot attack each other. World, Alliance and Private chat are real-time. A public alliance directory on this site lets you look for the old names before you install.
For a side-by-side with the original, the Haypi Kingdom vs Prestige: Kingdom War comparison goes system by system.

Prestige: Kingdom War is free on iOS and Android. Four troop types, crop starvation, oases and forts, twenty titles, live servers.
What’s modernized
A faithful rebuild is not the same as a frozen one. Haypi Kingdom was a 2010 app with a 22.8 MB footprint and iOS 4.3 as its floor, and some of what we remember fondly was really just tolerated. The rebuild keeps the formula and updates the plumbing.
| Haypi Kingdom (2010–2013) | Prestige: Kingdom War (2026) | |
|---|---|---|
| Platform | iOS 4.3+, 32-bit; Android and Windows Phone 7 editions | iOS 15.1+ and Android, one shared world |
| Chat | World / Alliance / Private | World / Alliance / Private, real-time |
| Free coins | Try Your Luck, treasure chests, Earn Free Coins, referrals | Daily spin, tasks, chests, events, referrals |
| Testing an army | Send it and read the report | Battle Simulator in the Barracks, zero stakes |
| Seasons | No seasonal system in the versions we played | Time-limited events and battle-pass seasons |
| Community | In-game chat and the Haypi forum | In-game chat plus a live Discord |
Two additions deserve a note. The Battle Simulator runs mock battles through the real combat engine, so you can test a fort composition before you lose a real army learning it. And the war-prestige formula favors the underdog: a smaller player who beats a bigger one gains more, which blunts the snowball that used to decide a server early. Equipment slots (weapon, armor, horse, ring, manual) and enhancement are also in.
What it isn’t
Being honest about this is the difference between a page you trust and a page you close.
- ▸It is not official. Prestige: Kingdom War is made by console.log LLC and has no connection to Shanghai Haypi Computers Technology Co., Ltd. Haypi has not endorsed it, licensed it, or, as far as anyone can tell, said anything at all in years.
- ▸Your old account is gone. Nobody has Haypi’s database. Your old city, your enhanced weapon, your title: none of it can be restored, by this rebuild or by anyone. Everyone starts at 3rd Civilian.
- ▸It is not a pixel-for-pixel port. The systems match; the art, the interface and the numbers are the rebuild’s own. The title thresholds above are Prestige’s live values, not a claim about what Haypi used.
- ▸It is not a private server. Old “Haypi Kingdom 3.22” APKs on mirror sites are unofficial, unmaintained, and connect to nothing; a strategy MMO client without live servers is a login screen. If that route tempted you, read why there is no Haypi Kingdom private server first.
How to start in 10 minutes
The opening is the opening you remember, and the old quick-start order from Haypi’s tutorial still works: tasks, then buildings and tech, then an alliance, then hunting.
- ▸Install from the App Store or Google Play and pick a name. Beginner protection starts now.
- ▸Use the protection window. You have 7 days or until 3rd Baron (1,150 prestige), whichever comes first. Do not rush the title; prestige from training counts, so a big early army can end your protection before your Cranny and Warehouse are ready.
- ▸Run the task list. Tasks pay coins and resources and walk you through the Main Building, resource fields, Barracks and Technology Center in a sensible order.
- ▸Join an alliance on day one. Browse the directory, ask in World chat, or bring your own people through the Haypi Kingdom reunion page. Alliance members cannot attack each other, which halves your threats immediately.
- ▸Hunt. Send a small party to an oasis for money and treasure. Hunting troops cannot be attacked, which makes it the safest thing an army can do while you build.
- ▸Then take an oasis, then a fort, in that order, with Catapults for the fort. The Haypi Kingdom guide covers the full first two weeks, and the wiki has every building, troop and technology table.
Bottom line
Is there a new Haypi Kingdom? Not from Haypi, and after more than a decade of silence there is no sign one is coming. But the question underneath that search has a yes: the formula you miss has been rebuilt, it is free, it runs on the phone in your pocket, and the servers are live. Start with the complete Haypi Kingdom history if you want the context, or skip it and go find out whether you still remember how to time a fort run.
Prestige: Kingdom War is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Haypi Co. Haypi Kingdom is referenced as the classic that inspired it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not an official one. Haypi Co. last updated Haypi Kingdom in August 2013 and its sequel in December 2015 and has been silent since. The closest thing is Prestige: Kingdom War, an independent, free, ground-up rebuild released on the App Store on May 28, 2026 and on Google Play, with live servers and the original formula: four troop types, crop starvation, oases, forts and twenty titles.
No. Prestige: Kingdom War is published by console.log LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Haypi Co. It is a spiritual successor written from scratch to reproduce the systems of the original Haypi Kingdom, not a port of Haypi's code and not an official sequel.
No. Nobody outside Haypi has the original player database, and Haypi has not released it. Original cities, titles, treasures and coins cannot be restored by Prestige: Kingdom War or by anyone else. Every player in the rebuild starts fresh at 3rd Civilian with seven days of beginner protection.
Not from Haypi. The company's news page has no entries after 2012 and the original app cannot run on iOS 11 or later. In 2026 the new Haypi Kingdom is effectively Prestige: Kingdom War, an independent rebuild on iOS 15.1+ and Android, currently at version 1.2.6 as of August 25, 2026, free to play with optional VIP.
No. Return of the King, released September 17, 2014, was a sequel with a different formula: heroes, six races, PvE campaign levels and gear synthesis. It was updated until December 22, 2015 and then abandoned. It did not recreate the original's crop-starvation, oasis-and-fort, title-ladder gameplay, which is what most people mean by a remake.
