Fort Farming: The Best Money Source

Money funds Technology, and the most reliable source is farming Forts. How fort income works, what it costs in Catapults, and the low-loss attack pattern.

Money funds Technology — and Technology wins the long game. The most reliable Money source in Prestige: Kingdom War is farming Forts. Here’s how fort income works, what it costs, and the attack pattern that keeps your losses near zero.

What forts actually pay

Forts produce Money per hour while you hold them, scaling with level — roughly $20/hour at level 1 up to around $200/hour at level 10. Hold several and that’s a steady research budget flowing in around the clock, with no resource cost to maintain.

  • Level 1 fort: ~$20/hour — cheap to take, good early income.
  • Level 10 fort: ~$200/hour — expensive to crack, premium income.
  • Income is passive: capture, hold, collect. Tech does the rest.

What it costs to take one

Forts are Catapult checks. A level 1 fort needs roughly 215 Catapults; a level 10 fort closer to 19,830. Build toward higher-level forts as your Catapult count grows — don’t throw an under-strength army at a fort you can’t crack.

The low-loss attack pattern

  • Send your Catapults forward as the core damage.
  • Add 1 Infantry, then 1 Archer as sequential meatshields — they absorb rounds so your Catapults survive longer.
  • Keep Cavalry on “Wait” so they survive the fight and haul the loot home (100 carry each).
  • The bigger your attacking army, the fewer casualties you take overall.
Turn Money into a snowball
Pour fort income into economy tech (Planting, Woodcutting, Digging, Smelting) first. A bigger economy funds a bigger Catapult army, which takes higher forts, which pays more Money. That’s the snowball.
