PvP Guide for Kingdom War Games

Good PvP in a kingdom-war game isn’t about having the biggest army — it’s about information and timing. This guide covers how to scout, when to strike, how to counter enemy defenses, and how to walk away with the loot instead of losing your army.

Rule one: scout before you commit

Never attack blind. Scouting tells you what you’re hitting — the defender’s troop types, numbers, traps, and whether reinforcements are nearby. Committing an army without that information is how you donate it. If you can’t scout it, don’t hit it.

Rule two: timing wins fights

• ▸Hit when they’re weak. Targets are softest when offline or when their army is away raiding or reinforcing elsewhere.
• ▸Catch troops out of position. An empty city is worth more than a defended one — and far safer to take.
• ▸Don’t telegraph. Long marches give defenders time to reinforce. Strike from close when you can.

Rule three: bring the counter

Match your composition to the defense. Lead with infantry to soak traps and front-line defenders, bring catapults if there are walls to break, and keep cavalry for damage and loot. The full breakdown is in the troop composition guide.

Defending against PvP

• ▸Keep a protected resource reserve so raids net the attacker little.
• ▸Don’t leave your army sitting idle and visible — troops away or reinforcing are troops that survive a surprise hit.
• ▸Lean on your alliance; fast reinforcement turns you from prey into a trap.
