Haypi Kingdom Titles: The Full 20-Rank Ladder, Prestige Requirements and What Each Promotion Gives You

The complete Haypi Kingdom titles list: all 20 ranks from 3rd Civilian to King, prestige thresholds, the 3rd Baron protection cutoff, consumables and rewards.

If you are hunting for the full list of Haypi Kingdom titles, you have probably already discovered that the two Fandom wikis are mostly abandoned and the old forum threads have rotted away. This page is the ladder in one place: all 20 ranks from 3rd Civilian to King, the prestige each one asks for, the consumable treasures the top tiers demand, and what a promotion actually gives you. The numbers below are the live thresholds in Prestige: Kingdom War, the independent rebuild of the classic; the original’s ladder was close in spirit, but its exact values were never reliably archived, so we do not pretend to quote them.

Short answer
Haypi Kingdom had 20 General titles, and the rebuild’s ladder runs three grades each of Civilian, Baron, Viscount, Earl, Marquis and Duke (3rd, 2nd, 1st), then Prince Regent and King. You climb by earning prestige, which never drops below your current title’s minimum, so you can never be demoted. In the rebuild the thresholds run from 200 prestige for 2nd Civilian, through 1,150 for 3rd Baron (the beginner-protection cutoff), 20,000 for 1st Viscount, and all the way to 11,500,000 for King. Promotions grant attribute points, skill points and, at higher tiers, extra branch cities and oasis slots.

The full Haypi Kingdom titles ladder, all 20 ranks

Here is the complete Haypi Kingdom title list as it exists today in Prestige: Kingdom War. The first column is the internal title level; the prestige column is the minimum you need before the promotion button lights up. Where a rank also asks for treasure consumables, that is in the notes. Consider this the reference table the old wikis never quite finished.

Which numbers are these?
These are the live values in Prestige: Kingdom War as of its August 2026 builds (v1.2.6 on iOS). The original Haypi Kingdom, last updated to version 3.20 on August 28, 2013, also had 20 titles and the same 3rd Baron protection cutoff, but nobody preserved a trustworthy copy of its exact prestige table. If you remember your old server’s numbers being a little different, you are probably right; the shape of the climb is what carried over.

Notice the rhythm of the thresholds. From 3rd Baron onward the ladder runs 1,150, 2,000, 3,600, 6,500, 11,500, 20,000, then repeats the same six-step pattern with the decimal point shifted: 35,000, 65,000, 115,000, 200,000, 360,000, 650,000, and again for 1.15 million, 2 million, 3.6 million, 6.5 million and 11.5 million. Each grade roughly multiplies the previous requirement by 1.7 to 1.8, so the gap between titles grows constantly but predictably. A player who can see the pattern can estimate how many weeks of training and fighting stand between them and the next rank.

Where prestige comes from

Haypi Kingdom prestige was always the single score that mattered, and it came from several faucets at once. The rebuild keeps those sources, and the numbers behind them are now published rather than guessed at.

  • Training troops. Prestige gained from training equals the unit’s population cost. In the rebuild an Infantry is 1 population, an Archer 2, a Cavalry 4 and a Catapult 10, so a batch of 100 Cavalry is worth 400 prestige on its own. This is the steadiest source at every stage of the game.
  • Battles. Attacking and defending both pay out war prestige, and the rebuild favors the underdog: a smaller player who beats a bigger one gains more than the reverse. This is the source that separates the top of the leaderboard from the middle.
  • Hunts. Sending troops to hunt at oases returns money and treasure and contributes to your climb, with the bonus that hunting troops cannot be attacked while they are out.
  • Upgrades. Building upgrades, technology research and completed tasks add to your score, which is why a well-run city keeps rising in the Rank tab even between fights.

For a deeper breakdown of how each source scales, the prestige and titles explainer walks through the math; this page is the ladder itself.

The 3rd Baron protection cutoff

Every veteran remembers the cliff. Haypi’s own tutorial spelled it out: beginner’s protection lasted seven days or until you reached 3rd Baron, whichever came first. That single rule shaped how everyone played their first week. You could sit at 1st Civilian for the full seven days, building up walls and a cranny while nobody could touch you, or you could sprint to 3rd Baron in two days and get farmed by every Earl within marching distance.

The rebuild keeps the rule exactly: 7-day beginner protection, or until 3rd Baron. In today’s numbers that means 1,150 prestige is the line, and since training prestige equals population cost, it is very easy to cross it by accident. Training 300 Cavalry from a fresh Barracks is 1,200 prestige, and your protection is gone. Watch the Rank tab before every big training batch during your first week. If you want the full survival routine for those first days, the Haypi Kingdom guide covers the wall-and-cranny setup that made the drop to open play survivable.

Consumable requirements at the top

Prestige alone carries you through 1st Earl. From 3rd Marquis onward, promotions also consume treasure items, which is the part of the Haypi Kingdom title system that most players only ever read about in world chat. In the rebuild the treasure consumables are Nugget, Gemstone, Medal, Scepter and Crown, and the confirmed checkpoints are:

Key facts
3rd Marquis (rank 13)
200,000 prestige + 1 Medal + 1 Scepter
3rd Duke (rank 16)
1,150,000 prestige + 3 Scepters
Prince Regent (rank 19)
6,500,000 prestige + 2 Scepters + 2 Crowns
King (rank 20)
11,500,000 prestige + 4 Scepters + 4 Crowns

Those items come from hunting, treasure chests, and the player-to-player Marketplace, which is why the Marketplace suddenly matters again once a server’s leading alliance approaches Marquis. Hoard Scepters early. A player at 1st Earl with 115,000 prestige and no consumables is stuck until the drops line up or a trade goes through.

What a promotion actually gives you

Titles were never cosmetic in Haypi Kingdom, and they are not cosmetic in the rebuild. Each promotion grants Attribute Points that you spend on Speed, Attack, Defense or Fortune, plus Skill Points for the five General skills, which include Hidden Attack and Scout. Speed is the popular pick because it feeds directly into first strike and marching time; Fortune shapes treasure drops.

Higher titles also unlock more branch cities, more oasis slots and more fortified points. That is the real reason to chase the ladder past Viscount. On a 600×600 persistent map, a second and third city multiplies your production and gives you a place to fall back to when your capital gets hit. The multiple cities guide explains when a branch city is worth founding, and each extra oasis slot compounds on top of it.

You cannot be demoted

One rule saved a lot of players from rage-quitting: prestige never drops below your current title’s minimum. Lose an entire army, get your capital sacked, sit out a month, and you are still 2nd Viscount when you log back in. Prestige can be lost in bad battles, but the floor is your title. In the rebuild that guarantee is enforced server-side, so the worst a losing streak can do is knock you back to the bottom of the rank you already hold.

Referral rewards: 1st Viscount then, 3rd Baron now

The original had a recruitment mechanic that most players forgot existed until a friend’s account suddenly paid out. Per Haypi’s tutorial, one of the listed coin sources was a recruited player reaching 1st Viscount, alongside Try Your Luck, treasure chests, Earn Free Coins and the Shop. In the rebuild’s numbers 1st Viscount is 20,000 prestige, which is weeks of play; the reward was meaningful because most recruits never got there.

Prestige: Kingdom War moves the trigger down the ladder. Referral rewards pay when an invited friend reaches 3rd Baron, the same rank that ends beginner protection. The logic is sound: a friend who has crossed that line has committed to playing, and you get rewarded within their first week instead of their second month. You can generate your invite link on the invite page and it is one of the free coin sources alongside tasks, the daily spin, chests and events.

Fastest route to Baron and Viscount

Two milestones matter more than any others for a new account: 3rd Baron at 1,150 prestige, because it ends protection and triggers referrals, and 1st Viscount at 20,000, because by then you are a real target and a real threat. Here is the compressed route.

  • Days 1 to 3, stay under 1,150 on purpose. Run every task, push Cropland and the Warehouse, get the City Wall up with Trap Research started, and hold your troop count so the population cost stays below the cutoff. Use the protection window for buildings, not soldiers.
  • Days 4 to 7, train through the line deliberately. When your wall and cranny are ready, train the army that carries you past 3rd Baron in one batch. Since prestige equals population, Cavalry moves you four times faster per unit than Infantry, and 500 Cavalry alone is 2,000 prestige, which is 2nd Baron on the spot.
  • Week 2 onward, hunt and occupy. Hunts return money and treasure while keeping the troops untouchable, and capturing oases and forts adds production for the next training cycle. Forts and oases each run 10 levels with NPC garrisons that scale, so take the low ones first.
  • Pick fights you can win as the smaller player. Underdog war prestige is the rebuild’s biggest accelerator between Viscount and Earl. A well-scouted win against a bigger, sleeping account pays far more than farming inactives.
  • Join an alliance before you leave protection. Alliance members cannot attack each other, and a good alliance points you at the right forts. The alliance directory lists open ones.

The fastest way to rank up guide turns this into a day-by-day schedule with the training batches worked out, and the Haypi Kingdom troops page has the population and cost table you need to plan each batch.

Titles, the Rank tab and bragging rights

Haypi’s bottom bar had a Rank button with three leaderboards: title, prestige and alliance. Titles were the public face of the whole game. World chat in 2011 was full of Dukes throwing their weight around and Barons asking which server had the weakest Earls. The name next to your message told everyone whether you were worth listening to, and whether you were worth attacking.

The rebuild keeps leaderboards and real-time World, Alliance and Private chat, so the social texture of the ladder is intact. If what you miss about the original is watching your own name tick from 3rd Viscount to 2nd Viscount after a long night of fort runs, that specific feeling is what the Haypi Kingdom rebuild is trying to give back. It is not the same app and it does not claim to be; it is a ground-up game built by people who remember the climb.

Bottom line

The Haypi Kingdom title ladder is 20 ranks: Civilian, Baron, Viscount, Earl, Marquis and Duke in three grades each, then Prince Regent and King. Prestige comes from training (population cost), battles (with an underdog bonus), hunts and upgrades; the 3rd Baron threshold ends beginner protection; from 3rd Marquis you also need Medals, Scepters and Crowns; and you can never be demoted below the title you hold. The original’s exact numbers are lost to dead wikis, but the ladder above is live today in Prestige: Kingdom War, free on iOS and Android, and it plays the way you remember.

Prestige: Kingdom War is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Haypi Co. Haypi Kingdom is referenced as the classic that inspired it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many titles are there in Haypi Kingdom?

Twenty. The Haypi Kingdom titles ladder runs through Civilian, Baron, Viscount, Earl, Marquis and Duke, each in three grades (3rd, 2nd, 1st), followed by Prince Regent and King. Every player starts as 3rd Civilian and climbs by earning prestige from training troops, fighting battles, hunting and upgrading. The rebuild Prestige: Kingdom War uses a 20-title ladder with the same structure.

How much prestige do you need for 3rd Baron in Haypi Kingdom?

In Prestige: Kingdom War, the rebuild, 3rd Baron requires 1,150 prestige. It is the rank that ends beginner protection, which otherwise lasts seven days. Because training prestige equals a unit's population cost, a single large Cavalry batch can push you past the line, so check your prestige before big training runs in week one.

What prestige is needed for the King title?

In the rebuild, King is rank 20 and needs 11,500,000 prestige plus 4 Scepters and 4 Crowns as consumable treasures. Prince Regent, the rank below it, needs 6,500,000 prestige plus 2 Scepters and 2 Crowns. The original game's exact numbers were never reliably archived, but its ladder followed the same structure.

Can you lose your title in Haypi Kingdom?

No. Prestige can drop after losing battles, but it never falls below the minimum for your current title, so you can never be demoted. A player who reaches 2nd Viscount stays 2nd Viscount even after losing an army or going inactive. The rebuild enforces the same floor on the server side.

What do you get when you upgrade your title?

Each promotion grants Attribute Points to spend on Speed, Attack, Defense or Fortune, plus Skill Points for the General skills such as Hidden Attack and Scout. Higher titles also unlock additional branch cities, more oasis slots and more fortified points, which is the main reason to keep climbing past Viscount.
